1. What the Marketplace is
The Near Me Marketplace is an advertising and discovery platform. It lets sellers advertise equipment and products, and lets buyers find them and make contact.
The Near Me Network is not the seller, is not a party to any sale, and does not process the purchase price. All sales are agreed directly between buyer and seller.
2. Seller responsibilities
You must be authorised to sell each item you list.
Listing information must be accurate to the best of your knowledge, including price, condition, age and specification.
You must disclose known material defects, damage, repairs or faults in the Defects / Faults field.
You are responsible for complying with any laws that apply to the item, including safety, roadworthiness and electrical safety requirements.
3. Listing allowance and Marketplace Unlimited
Every seller may keep up to 3 active listings at any one time free of charge. Sold, paused and removed listings do not count toward that allowance.
Marketplace Unlimited costs £50 per month and allows unlimited active listings. It renews monthly until cancelled.
If you cancel, Unlimited remains active until the end of your paid billing period. After it ends, listings above the free allowance are paused rather than deleted, and you can choose which 3 stay active.
4. Buyers
Browsing, searching and contacting sellers is free and requires no account or subscription.
Buyers should inspect equipment and satisfy themselves as to condition and suitability before purchase.
5. Prohibited and unsafe items
Listings that are fraudulent, misleading, unsafe, stolen, counterfeit or unlawful are not permitted and may be paused or removed.
Anyone can report a listing. Reports are reviewed by The Near Me Network and may result in removal of the listing or the seller account.
6. Enquiries and personal data
Buyer enquiries are submitted through the Marketplace and passed to the seller. Exact residential addresses are never published — only an approximate town or postcode area is shown.
Personal data is handled in line with our Privacy Policy.
7. Separate from Near Me Network supplier membership
These Marketplace Terms are separate from Near Me Network supplier agreements, supplier compliance and hire fulfilment terms. Accepting these terms does not make you an approved hire supplier, and being an approved supplier does not change these Marketplace Terms.
